Before I built websites, I spent nearly a decade making sure complex systems didn't fail. That's still the job. I've just changed what the system is.
I'm Zuri Gomez, founder and developer at ClicStudio. I design and build websites for small businesses, but the way I work comes from somewhere else: nearly ten years as a manufacturing and process engineer, where the whole job was finding exactly where a system breaks before it ships, and fixing the root cause instead of the symptom.
That background is why I run web projects the way I do: a written scope before any design starts, QA against real devices instead of it looked fine on my screen, and a documented log of what changed and why. It's not a marketing angle. It's the only way I know how to build things.
I brought that same discipline into tech at Metrolinx, where I led change management for a CRM platform rollout serving GO Train customer service, translating a complex technical rollout into something an entire customer-facing team could actually adopt. I later completed a Software Engineering diploma at BrainStation in Toronto to formalize the development side, and founded ClicStudio in 2025 to bring engineering rigor to businesses that are usually sold vague promises instead of a plan.
I'm also Mexican, living and working in Canada, bilingual in English and Spanish, and comfortable running a project fully in either language, whichever makes you more comfortable as a client.
Every project follows the same sequence, so you always know what stage you're at and what happens next.
